Description
Advantages
Destroys bacteria and biofilm
Effective also against microorganisms that tolerate chlorine.
Works in dead ends
Effective also in pipework without circulation and with little water exchange.
Does not change taste or smell
The water keeps its natural taste and smell.
Automatic dosing
Ultra-precise measurements, no overdosing and less chemical waste.
Best residual effect
Chlorine dioxide has the best residual effect of all disinfection methods.
Reliable and affordable
A simple design ensures high reliability and low maintenance costs.
Easy to install
Quick installation and user-friendly everyday handling.
4 capacities
Sets available with capacities of 5, 10, 30 and 60 g/h.
Systems and capacity
OCD-162-5 ja -10
For small or medium-sized buildings where water consumption is up to 25 m³/h.
OCD-162-30 ja -60
Applied mainly in waterworks and in the drinking water and food industries.
Installation and operation
The system is installed at the inlet of the building’s water system (next to the water meter) and connected with two hoses or pipes. Chlorine dioxide is produced from aqueous solutions of sodium chlorite (NaClO₂ 7.5%) and hydrochloric acid (HCl 9%). The ClO₂ aqueous solution obtained from the controlled reaction of the two chemicals is dosed evenly according to water consumption using a digital dosing pump.
