Demineralized water (DM water) is pure water that contains no dissolved substances such as salts or metal and non-metal ions. The conductivity of such water is below 10 uS/cm, which ensures high quality and suitability even for the most demanding processes.
Miridon produces DM water using a combination of reverse osmosis and mixed-bed ion exchange, consistently achieving laboratory-grade results.
Water quality is critical in laboratories, the electronics industry, boiler houses and other fields where processes require maximum precision and reliability.
Miridon offers the option to buy demineralized water in canisters or IBC containers for companies with smaller consumption needs that do not want to invest in water treatment equipment.
Production of demineralized water
Our production uses two technologies:
- Reverse osmosis (RO) unit – removes up to 99% of dissolved salts, heavy metals and microorganisms from the water.
- Mixed-bed ion exchange unit – removes even the last ions from the water, achieving especially low conductivity and stable quality below 0.1 uS/cm.
The result is laboratory-grade demineralized water that also meets strict industrial requirements.
Sales and delivery options
Demineralized water can be purchased according to the customer’s needs. If you wish, you can take the water with you in your own container or use the 5, 10, 20 and 30 litre canisters and IBC containers offered by Miridon.
For companies and institutions that need a regular water supply, we also offer delivery based on repeat orders, which ensures continuous and convenient availability of water.
Demineralized water can be purchased at Miridon’s Tartu and Tallinn branches.
Examples of using demineralized water
- Laboratories and research institutions – for carrying out analyses and experiments.
- Electronics industry – for rinsing equipment and components.
- Food and beverage industry – to ensure quality in production processes.
- Boiler houses and cooling systems – to prevent limescale and corrosion.
- Car washes and the glass industry – to ensure spot-free rinse water.
